We support doctors and medical students —during social service, one year from graduating, or already graduated— who want to validate their degree and practice in the United States. What we offer is preparation for the USMLE exams with Kaplan Medical, the most recognized official prep program worldwide: passing them is one of the required steps to apply to the Match (the U.S. medical residency process).
What is the USMLE?
The United States Medical Licensing Examination is the exam sequence that assesses your ability to practice medicine in the United States. It has three steps.
Step 1
Assesses basic science principles: anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, pathology and more. It is the foundation for moving forward in the U.S. medical licensing process.
Step 2 CK
Clinical Knowledge: assesses clinical knowledge and patient management. It measures your ability to apply medical and clinical knowledge to supervised patient care.
Step 3
Final assessment of clinical reasoning and decision-making in patient care. It is the last step before practicing without supervision in the United States.
All three Steps are required to obtain a U.S. medical license and are the path for international medical graduates (IMGs) to apply to a residency program.
